Process for all Candidates

  • Fill out the . Candidates qualifications have to be screened to ensure candidate is eligible to run in SGA elections.
  • All eligible candidates must attend one Candidate Information Session.
  • Campaign according to the and only during the campaigning window: March 2 at 8:00 a.m. – March 15 at 11:59 p.m.
  • Elections are March 9-11, 2026 and open to the entire student body to vote.

Candidate Information Sessions

All candidates are required to attend one of the available Candidate Information Sessions. All sessions will take place virtually on Zoom. Registration Links for each meeting will become available on January 26th, 2026.

  • Friday, February 13th, 4PM-5PM
  • Monday, February 16th, 4PM-5PM
  • Wednesday, February 18th, 4PM-6PM
  • Tuesday, February 24th, 4PM-5PM
  • Wednesday, February 25th, 4PM-5PM

Elections Timeline

  • January 26 – February 25 Complete the
    • DEADLINE TO FILE IS FEBRUARY 25TH
    • All submissions will receive a notification after submitting their form to their Georgia Southern email after determining eligibility.

    • REQUIRED Information Sessions for students interested in running – every candidate must attend one session.
